I just received an invitation today to attend a baptismal celebration next week. I went through my clothes to see if I have an outfit to wear. I hate to admit this, but it’s been three months and a half and I haven’t shed the weight I gained because of pregnancy. It’s so difficult to lose weight if you’re home the whole day. Sanjo doesn’t run around yet, so I don’t really have any exercise. The only exercise I probably do is when I have to type or click something on the computer. That’s about it.
I found this wonderful dress. It fits just right and looks quite good, since it hides all the flab. The length is just right too since it’s just above my knees. Not too long, not too short. But I noticed, there are several varicose veins on the back of my legs. I know it’s not something I could prevent, I have two children, and I used to love wearing high heels and stilettos even when just going to work. I asked my friend who used to be in the same modeling agency that I was in, because she had a vein treatment done last year. I know there are different options available to get rid of these unsightly veins on our legs, but as much as possible, less pain is what I think is best for me. I have very low tolerance for pain, that’s why I hate surgical procedures and anything that has to do with doctors or dentists. I don’t know but I think I have to go see one of the vein doctors in the city to find out what those options are, which one will be best for me, and at what cost. I hope it’s not too expensive and that there’s a procedure that isn’t too invasive and painful. There are several clinics available for me to choose, but I have to find the ones which are near our house. It’s great that there’s a new tool now that allows me to find vein clinics in my area just by entering my zip code. Wish me luck. Or maybe I should just let them be. Hmm.

We are on the same boat on extra weight. It is really hard to lose the pounds I gained during pregnancy and breast feeding. My daughter is 2.5 years old and I've stopped breastfeeding for years now and yet I continue to gain weight
That has been my problem ever since..It runs in our family. I already have few on my legs since high school, but not so visible. When I gave birth twice, it became gross. My daughter has it on the chest as early as three yrs. old.
I have already done some research and have inquired to some clinics near us who perform sclerotherapy. It's non-surgical, they will inject a formula on your veins then after several sessions, those useless veins will eventually vanished. In my case, I only need one session since mine is only spider veins.
I was supposed to undergo last year, but had second thoughts because it says that the procedure will leave temporary scars that's supposed to be gone on the third week. It also says to be a bit painful. But I need to compose myself, I am planning to undergo probably on March during kids' vacation because legs have to be covered for three weeks. Completely no sunlight.
Varicose veins are the enlarged ones. Are you sure, the ones you have are varicose veins?
Sclerotheraphy is 3k-4k per session.
Try to look for the nearest Godiva clinic. They're known for this procedure.
Go for it.. You are a young mom and should still be enjoying skirts and dresses.
Good luck to both of us.. LOL.
