My little girl Sab is a big Dora the Explorer addict. She wants her Dora in the morning when she wakes up, in the afternoon after her nap, and even after dinner or before bedtime. She wants Dora the whole day but we all know that Dora is on TV just once a day. She doesn’t have her own channel after all. And I can’t possibly keep buying her DVDs because she won’t watch them repeatedly anyway. I also don’t see them for rent at the nearby video rental shop. Of course I’d want to let Sab watch her favorite show when she wants to, but we always have to wait for the show’s schedule on TV.
Now,I’m a big Heroes fan. No, scratch that. I’m a big TV series fan. But because me and my Bubby share one TV, sometimes the shows he likes to watch has the same schedule as the shows I want to watch. This usually causes a riot.
But for those who have Charter digital, you actually have “On Demand”. This means that if you have a daughter like mine who wants to watch Dora before bedtime, it’s possible even if it’s not scheduled for that time. And I also don’t have to worry about missing my favorite TV series because I can just watch it the next day. Pretty convenient, huh?
