I was supposed to post this last week, but there was just too many things I had to get done.
My family and I went out for a drive and we decided to stop by the Paseo, which is quite similar to the “Baywalk” along Roxas Boulevard in Manila. There were so many things in common with Baywalk, such as the food stalls, lovers walking and friends hanging out. One thing stood apart though. These were the kids on small boats. What were they doing? They wait for the visitors to throw coins in the water, and they dived to get them. Some people might probably find it amusing, but for me, it breaks my heart. These children had to wait and dive for almost a whole day under the scorching sun for a few coins. And they probably don’t even get enough to buy a full meal. It’s sad. But this is the sad reality of how life is for many Filipino families. Life is hard, and this is just a means for them to be able to put food on the table.

aah uu. ganyan nga din diba sa Roxas. dun sila ligo. parang ang linis ng tubig. pero enjoy na enjoy sila. huhu
Ohh this is really heat breaking. If only I have plenty of money I will get help all these unfortunate children but for now I just help those nearby us in the farm.
