It’s been a couple of years since I was a part of the workforce, but since we’re thinking of sending the little one to school soon, I might as well list down my options when I do decide to go to work.
As early as now, I’ve been trying to update my resume, especially since most companies hire third parties to check background checks now. Unlike 10 years ago, most companies nowadays have a lot of waivers and disclosure statements where you, the applicant, allow them to dig through everything in your life to validate your claims, be it for your education or work experience.
So for those who are job hunting like me, make sure you state your dates and credentials properly to reduce the risk of being questioned, or worse, not being hired for a job because of technicalities.
