Christmas is Coming Soon!

It’s almost the middle of November, and in just more than a month’s time, the Christmas holidays are here. That for me means a couple of weeks of going to and from families’ and friends’ houses. And it also means a heck of lot of travel since my family is in the province. I love to travel, but ever since I had my babies, I didn’t quite like travelling as much since travelling with babies equals bringing tons of baby stuff. Who enjoys going around with big and bulky bags, right? But then again, since it is Christmas, travelling is a must. My little girl Sabyn is 2 and a half years old. I don’t need to bring too much of her stuff since she just needs her clothes and milk bottles. As for my little Sanjo, he’s only 2 and a half months old, so I need to bring his sterilizer, milk bottles, stroller and his travel bed. You might ask why I need a travel bed for. Well, my family lives in the province, so I travel 4-6 hours by land. It’s quite uncomfortable to carry Sanjo for the whole 4-6 hours, and the car seat just won’t do since it’s kind of upright. Infants below 6 months sleep quite comfortable if they lay flat on their backs or their stomachs. That’s why my mom got me the Eddie Bauer Infant Travel Bed so that Sanjo can lie down comfortably during the long travel home. It’s lightweight and with the collapsible frame, it is compact and has its own carry strap so just fold it and carry it as you would a bag. And what I really like about it since it’s so compact is that I use it as a diaper changing mat as well. Most of the changing stations in malls and gas stops have hard plastic diaper changing tables, which is really uncomfortable for little infants. And this travel bed is padded at the bottom and the sides so it’s comfortable for Sanjo to change his diapers in. It’s easy to clean too. I simply wipe the nylon surface and voila! It’s clean. So for those moms and dads who bring their infants on the go, I would highly recommend the Eddie Bauer Infant Travel Bed. It’s affordable, lightweight, compact and easy to use and store. Simply the best travel must have for infants on the go.
