Mommy Meet-up

It was a tiring day yesterday, but I had a lot of fun and my mind was able to rest, even for just a few hours. I went out and finally got the chance to meet the famous Mommy Pehpot and the spunky Mommy Fedhz. I also got the pleasure of meeting Mommy Chris and her family, although it was just very short since they were on their way out of Peh’s house when Fedhz and I arrived. Spend the whole day chowing down on food and talking about this and that.. and it was a very refreshing experience to finally be able to meet the friends I have met online.

I brought JC and Sanjo with me, and I can say that they had a lot of fun playing with Peh’s kids and nephew. Sati sure liked JC better than me, but it’s only natural since JC really loves kids. And yes, I think it won’t be too long before he starts bugging me for our own baby girl, but unfortunately, it’s not happening anytime soon. Maybe next year. Oh, that’s in a couple of weeks! How time flies by.. Well, can’t wait to see them again, and hopefully meet the other blogger friends too!

Blog Design Goddess

I would have said “Blog Design GURU” instead of “Goddess”, but the latter word is more apt for Kaye, my idol and my mentor when it comes to designing, coding, and tweaking blogs. She is the wonder designer behind WAHMaholic Designs, and I know she spent WEEKS just to make her portfolio look really wonderful. I know so, because she was MIA for a couple of weeks because of the coding. She wanted everything perfect, and for that, I admire her. I really loved what she did with her blog, Random WAHM Thoughts, because the design is definitely UNIQUE. But when I saw the transformation of WAHMaholic, I WAS IN AWE. I wouldn’t say it’s her best design, because I absolutely love everything this girl does with blog transformations, but with the design, scripts, and everything else, I can say that it is my favorite among all that she has done. In fact, that’s why I look at her as a mentor. Because she knows what she’s doing, and I know she does what she loves.

I pray that Kaye will continue to have more clients like me who are beyond SATISFIED with her creations. Cheers to you, my friend. You are officially FAMOUS.

First I want to thank YUUKI and MAROSE for trusting me enough with their hard earned moolah to set up their WP blogs and do a little theme modification. They have certainly boosted my self-confidence, and I know in time, and with enough practice, I can soon be as good as the wondermom K. You might want to visit their sites. They get updated quite frequently, and for sure, you’ll find an entry that you can relate to or you would find as a really good read.
